I'm one of those artists who contemplates new ways to use old things so they don't end up in the landfill. Bicycle tires to frame paintings, redecorate old chairs and doors into works of art, using discarded scraps of plexiglass and plywood to create miniature sized art for dispensing in Art-O-Mat machines, and now this: re-purposing expired exhibition banners into messenger bags. After coming up with a basic pattern design, I measured twice, cut once, stitched together the seams, attached a shoulder strap and voila! A unique bag large enough to carry your laptop or other various binders and books wherever you may venture to. Available for purchase - contact me for details.
